Managing Your Plan and Plan Start Date in NuMiArticle posted in: Guides
The NuMi app is your official weight loss sidekick. It’s your one-stop spot for all things Nutrisystem! Log your daily meal plan, set reminders, keep track of your progress and purchase your favorite Nutri-foods. You can even sync it with your Fitbit! Need a little help managing your NuMi plan? Whether you need to change your start date, update your plan or change your starting weight, we’re here to tell you (and show you!) how to do it.
Didn’t start when you planned to? You can update your start date by restarting your plan.
If you need to change your plan start date, you will need to go to the “Plan Settings” page and select “Restart Plan.” From there, you can set your start date up to 30 days before or after today. This will allow you to track your progress from exactly when you started your Nutrisystem Program.

To reset or restart your plan, you’ll follow the same process as above. Go to the “Plan Settings” page and select “Restart Plan.” Then, you can select your new start date, starting weight and goal weight.
How to Change Your Starting Weight
Go to the “Progress” tab and tap the top left number that says “All Time Starting Weight.” Enter a new starting weight and tap “Save” in the top right.
If you made a mistake when you entered it, then use this! If you’re restarting your plan, we’d recommend using the “Restart Plan” functionality instead.

Need to change your plan in NuMi?
Maybe you selected the wrong plan, or recently switched to a different one! You can change your meal plan in NuMi by going to “Settings”, “Plan Settings” and tapping on your current plan name. Then, tap “Change Plan” and update your information if necessary. Tap “Get Started” and then simply choose your plan from the list.
This will reset your start date to the new date you choose between 30 days before or after the current date. Please note that using this feature only changes how you track your plan in NuMi. It will not impact the status of your Nutrisystem plan selection.
