Our weight loss meal plan is easy to follow, but that doesn’t mean the first shipment of diet food won’t make you feel slightly overwhelmed—it’s common. A large box filled with shakes, bars, snacks and entrées—that’s a LOT of diet food. The good news is everything will be labeled for you to understand what you should be eating and when.

Your first shipment may include a special Week 1 plan for your first seven days. This is a lower calorie meal plan to jumpstart your weight loss in this first week. You will receive a specially designed Week 1 Guide to help maximize your results.

Once your first week is over, and you’ve officially jumpstarted your weight loss plan. The second week of your diet meal plan is when you will start to add SmartCarbs and PowerFuels into your daily menu, along with Flex Meals. At Nutrisystem, we have specially designed our weight loss program to give you the flexibility and freedom you need to stay on track with your weight loss goals.
