Nutrisystem’s Bedtime Playlist

Article posted in: Lifestyle

We continue a run of playlists by offering you a bedtime playlist: a sample of music to fall asleep to. We know what you’re thinking: Wait! I’m supposed to be completely still and in a screen-free environment if I want to fall asleep. To which we say: You’re right. This is music we suggest you start listening to as you’re winding down the day, getting ready to get in to bed, not quite in bed yet. Why sleep? Because a solid 8 hours of sleep is an important part of a weight loss program. And while we’re offer the spoiler alert that Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” tops the list only because Spotify discovered it to be the most-listened-to bedtime song, we think it more appropriate for first dances at weddings. Another spoiler alert: the list contains a few instrumentals; words can be distracting. Sweet dreams!“Thinking Out Loud” Ed Sheeran (Ed. Sheeran)

“All of Me” John Legend (John Stephens, Toby Gad)

“Parker’s Mood” Charlie Parker (Charlie Parker)

“Desafinado” Stan Getz and Charlie Byrd (Antonio Carlos Jobim)

“Weight of the World” The Samples (Sean Kelly, Alexander Laughlin)

“Somewhere Over the Rainbow” Iz (Harold Arlen, E.Y. Harburg)

“In Your Hawaiian Way” Kohala (Charles Brotman)

“So What” Miles Davis (Gil Evans)
