It’s Never Too Late for a New Start

Hard to believe, but 2015 is two-thirds over. We just turned the calendar on August, so now we’re headed into the fall. And while there’s still plenty of warm weather left—September being our favorite time to go to the beach because the crowds are gone and the water is as warm as it gets all year—with the kids back in school and Labor Day marking the psychic end of summer, people naturally turn their thoughts to work, school, football, Halloween and maybe even the holidays.

It’s a whole new season. New clothes, new schedules, a whole new outlook. Vacation season is over and lots of people have a back-to-work feeling.

Which means it’s the perfect time to stop for a couple of minutes and evaluate how your weight loss program is going. Ask yourself a few questions:

• Are you on track to meet your goals?

• What are you doing that’s working well?

• What are you doing that might be holding you back?

• How do you feel about yourself and how things are going?

• Do you have the level of support you need? If not, how can you get it?

Many times, people think they need to wait for some kind of special time or day in order to take control of things. And while the end of summer certainly is a landmark in the year, we believe that it’s never too late to start fresh, to re-evaluate your program and your life and make the changes that can help you reach your goal. No need to wait for the new year. No need to wait for your birthday or anniversary. Start now. Take a look, get rid of what’s holding you back and embrace what’s helping you. Double down on it.
