Are there any entrees that require me to add ingredients to complete the meal?

A handful of our entrees require you to include additional calories to complete the meal, such as adding milk with your cereal or a roll to a sandwich.  These additions do not count as an additional SmartCarb or PowerFuel serving for that meal.  This addition will simply complete your meal choice. You’ll still be able to enjoy your PowerFuels and SmartCarbs as you normally would on days where you have these entrees.

Tips:

*Entrees requiring a whole grain roll or whole grain crackers: You can use any type you prefer as long as one serving is between 80 and 120 calories and has at least one gram of fiber.

*Entrees requiring adding milk with your cereal: We recommend using ½ cup (4 fl oz) fat free milk.

Entrees requiring additions:

Breakfast:
Apple Walnut Oatmeal – Combine ½ cup (4 oz) fat free milk or water.
Granola Cereal – Add ½ cup (4 fl oz) fat free milk.
Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal – Combine ½ cup (4 oz) fat free milk.
NutriFlakes Cereal – Add ½ cup (4 oz) of fat free milk.
Turkey Ham and Cheese Omelet [frozen] – Enjoy with a serving of fruit.

Lunch:
Chicken Noodle Soup – Enjoy with a small whole grain roll or crackers.
Classic Tuna Salad – Serve with a small whole grain roll or at least one vegetable serving of your choice (not included).

Dinner:
BBQ Seasoned Chicken – Serve with a small whole grain roll or at least one vegetable serving of your choice (not included).
Meatballs in Marinara Sauce – Serve with a small whole grain roll or at least one vegetable serving of your choice (not included).

Snacks:
None
