How long will it take to receive my order and how do I track it?
What are the shipping delivery time frames?
The processing and delivery time frame will take up to 1 to 5 business days from when the order is placed. However, this time frame may take up to 10 business days if the carrier experiences any delays.
If your order includes frozen foods, they will arrive in a separate shipment from your non-frozen foods. These portions may not be shipped on the same date and may arrive at your residence separately. Please note, our warehouse packs dry ice in frozen shipments to keep your food frozen for the duration of the delivery. In general, your food will remain frozen for approximately 4 to 6 hours once delivered. We recommend you unpack your frozen order and place in your freezer upon delivery.
Dry Ice Warning: Do not handle with bare hands. Contact with bare skin may cause severe burns or frostbite. Always use heavy gloves. The dry ice should be contained in a plastic bag. Don’t worry if the bags have opened in transit. Leave the dry ice in the cooler and then place the cooler in a well-ventilated area. Keep out of the reach of children. One of the more fun features of dry ice is how it sublimates. That said, if you open your cooler and there’s no dry ice left, it’s not the end of the world. If your meals arrive partially frozen or very cold to the touch like you’ve just taken it out of the refrigerator (temperature below 40 degrees Fahrenheit), they’re perfectly safe to eat per USDA guidelines. Simply refreeze and serve as normal.
Nutrisystem utilizes ground shipping services by primarily FedEx, as well as FedEx SmartPost, DHL, and Purolator (for orders shipping to Canada).
Locations outside Continental U.S. include: AK, HI, Puerto Rico, APO and PO Boxes, military addresses and other U.S. territories and possessions and Canada.
Average delivery time frame for Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico: ships 2-day air, delivered within 1-5 business days.
Average delivery time frame for Canada is 4-10 business days.
Orders shipped to APO and PO Boxes and military addresses can take up to 4-6 weeks to deliver. Orders are shipped by FedEx Smart Post and delivered by USPS.
How can I track my order(s) and view my order history?
To track your order, you can click the link in the email you received notifying you of the shipment. Please keep in mind that if your order contains frozen foods, you will receive two emails, each containing a separate tracking number for the non-frozen portion and frozen portion.
We encourage our customers to sign up for FEDEX DELIVERY MANAGER. By signing up, you have access to:
- Stay informed with delivery notifications.
- Save package delivery instructions for your driver – Make delivery location requests in Fedex Delivery Manager. There is no guarantee, but hopefully this will help your driver know your preference. Examples: Leave on porch, Do not block door, Deliver to apartment door
- View picture proof of delivery (PPOD) on the tracking page – Many FedEx deliveries now include a picture with your delivery.
- Provide feedback directly to FedEx as well as rate the experience on the tracking page – You can report a misdelivered package (use Report Missing Package option under Manage Delivery) and leave feedback on your delivery and driver.
You can also find your tracking information on the Order History page after logging into your Nutrisystem account. If your order contains frozen foods, there will be two links: One for non-frozen and one for frozen. To get to the Order History page, log into your Nutrisystem account and click on Order History on the left side panel. You may also view your Order History by clicking on Edit Next Order > See Past Orders & Track Order.
In your Order History, you can also review all previously placed Nutrisystem program orders, including order total, contents, shipping date, shipping status, and tracking numbers, plus view pending orders.
