Can I have anything other than vegetables during the first week of my Nutrisystem program?
During the first week of Nutrisystem, you will only need to add non-starchy vegetables and zero calorie beverages, both of which are unlimited. We recommend that you have at least four servings of non-starchy vegetables a day.
You will not add in PowerFuels (meat, dairy, eggs and nuts like almonds, cashews and peanuts) or SmartCarbs (fruit, whole grains and legumes) during the first week. Starting your second week, you will be able to start adding in SmartCarbs and PowerFuels.
