Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes (flip halfway), until these salad toppers are a crunchy, golden brown.

On Nutrisystem, Count As: 1 SmartCarb
- 4 ounces whole grain bread, cut into 1” cubes (2 cups cubes)
- Non-stick cooking spray, olive oil
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- ¼ tsp. dried thyme
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ¼ tsp. sea salt
- ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- Spread bread cubes on a nonstick baking sheet and mist with nonstick cooking spray. Toss and mist again so bread cubes are evenly coated.
- Place bread cubes into a large Ziploc bag. Sprinkle in oregano, thyme, garlic powder, sea salt and black pepper. Close bag tightly and shake gently (but thoroughly) until all cubes are coated in seasoning.
- Spread croutons on baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until croutons are browned on both sides.
