Do I have to exercise to lose weight on the Nutrisystem program?

Regular physical activity is an important component to lifelong weight management, and overall health and wellness. At Nutrisystem, we encourage our customers to achieve national health recommendations of 150 minutes of moderately intense physical activity each week while working towards their weight loss goals. However, exercise is not required to see weight loss while participating in the Nutrisystem® plan.

Our best recommendation is at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week, after week 1. If you need to, you can split your activity up over the course of the day! Check out the FITNESS section of The Leaf for inspiration! >
