Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces whole grain bread, cut into 1” cubes (about 2 cups of cubes)
  • Non-stick cooking spray or olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. red chili flakes
  • ¼ tsp. sea salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Spread bread cubes on a nonstick baking sheet and mist with nonstick cooking spray. Toss and mist again, so that bread cubes are evenly coated.
  3. Place bread cubes into a large Ziploc bag. Add chili garlic sauce, garlic powder, red chili flakes and sea salt. Close bag tightly, shake gently until all cubes are thoroughly coated in seasoning.
  4. Spread croutons on baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until croutons are browned on both sides.
  5. Cool thoroughly and store in an air tight container if not consuming immediately.
