Ingredients:

  • 1 15-oz can of chickpeas, low sodium
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. tahini
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • ½ cup artichokes, chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped basil
  • ¼ cup water

Directions:

  1. Place chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic, tahini, cumin and oil in a food processor. Process until smooth, scrape sides and bottom of bowl. Add water if too thick.
  2. Stir in artichokes and chopped basil.
  3. Serve with vegetables, chips or crackers.
