Let’s get started on this guilt-free holiday treat!

How to Make Peanut Butter Blossoms

To these Healthy Peanut Butter Blossoms, gather your ingredients. You’ll need peanut butter, room temperature light butter, one egg, some coconut sugar, a touch of vanilla extract, white whole wheat flour, baking soda and 20 Hershey Kisses (you can choose between milk or dark chocolate, or even mix them up!).

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. This will ensure that your cookies don’t stick to the pan.

Start by creating your wet mix. In a small bowl, combine the peanut butter, light butter, egg, coconut sugar and vanilla extract. Stir these ingredients together until they’re well-blended.

Next, in a large bowl, combine the white whole wheat flour and baking soda. This will serve as your dry mix.

Now, it’s time to bring the wet and dry ingredients together. Slowly incorporate the wet mixture into the dry mixture, stirring continuously until they are fully combined. The resulting dough should be firm yet pliable.

Using your hands or a cookie scoop, portion out the dough and roll it into approximately 20 balls. Place these balls on your prepared baking sheet.

Bake your peanut butter balls in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until they turn slightly golden brown. Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven. While they are still warm, gently press a Hershey Kiss into the top of each cookie, adding that signature Peanut Butter Blossom touch. Allow the cookies to cool completely before serving.

There you have it – a batch of Healthy Peanut Butter Blossoms, ready to delight your taste buds this holiday season!
