Ingredients:

  • 8 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • ½ – 15 oz can pumpkin pie filling (~1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg
  • ½ tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 packets stevia

Directions:

  1. Place all the ingredients in a large pot.
  2. Set heat to high and bring to a boil.
  3. Set heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. You can keep the applesauce as is for a chunky version or puree it in a blender for a smoother version.
