Romaine tops the list as one of our favorite salad greens! It’s the perfect option for people who love crunchy iceberg lettuce. However, it provides more nutritional value and can compete with the more bitter, dark leafy greens that may be hard to get down for new veggie eaters. Serve up this popular green in a Simple Romaine Salad featuring fresh scallions, toasted sunflower seeds and a creamy light ranch dressing.

This recipe was created by Leaf visitor, Jen. It’s a great quick and easy way to get in your veggie servings and provides a variety of flavors and textures. “Easy to make and full-flavored, very nice crunch,” says Jen.
