“Like many, I wasn’t always overweight. However, bad habits put me in a bad situation time and again. The reason, I believe, was because the good habits I would establish would only involve a change in my exercise routine―not my eating.

In my undergraduate days, I joined a university ‘Biggest Loser’ competition. I hit the gym and worked out, and by the end I had lost about 30 pounds. The problem was that summer hit, and I no longer had the gym available nor the motivation to continue. As a result, I got more lethargic and ate more because the food was around―and man, do I love food! All the weight (and then some) came back.

Last year, I had to make a lot of changes including changing the direction of my studies. But I hated the shape I was in. Hated it! I was massively overweight, which affected pretty much everything in my life. I wasn’t very happy. I didn’t like people seeing me because I was disappointed with myself. I knew I had to do something. I had made one critical move with my education. It was time for another. One day, I was watching TV and an ad came on for Nutrisystem. I decided I was going to give it a try.

Nutrisystem has had a giant impact on my life. I have lost over 100 pounds. I move better and have more energy. It has really changed my outlook―I am so much happier than I was before!
