How to Make Protein Waffles

Protein Waffles Preparing this protein waffle recipe is super easy and only requires seven simple ingredients. You’ll need a waffle iron to get the perfect waffle shape.

Get started by preheating your waffle iron and grab a large mixing bowl. Mix together the dry ingredients, including whole wheat pastry flour, Nutrisystem Shake Mix and baking powder. In another bowl, mix together the eggs, unsweetened almond milk, nonfat plain Greek yogurt and honey. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well to form your waffle batter

Now that your batter is ready, it’s time to get cooking! Pour some of the batter into the waffle iron and let it cook until crispy. Repeat with the remaining batter, spraying the waffle iron with nonstick spray between each batch. You should end up with six equal-sized waffles.
