A Very Berry Dessert Lasagna
It’s time to break out the red, white and blue desserts! This Independence day dessert lasagna is easy to put together and will be loved by everyone at your holiday party. Plus, it’s healthy enough for a guilt-free indulgence.
No-bake desserts are always a hit in the summertime, and this berry dessert lasagna is the perfect patriotic treat! To make this tasty dessert, start by making the graham cracker crust. Simply grind up some graham crackers in a food processor until they’re fine crumbs. Then stir in some melted light butter and press the mixture into an eight or nine-inch pan. Pop the crust in the freezer for a few minutes while you prepare the next layer.
For the strawberry layer, puree some strawberries in the food processor, then mix in some nonfat plain Greek yogurt, diced strawberries and light whipped topping. Pour this mixture over the crust and smooth it out. Then place the pan back in the freezer for a few more minutes.
Next, mix together low-fat cream cheese, nonfat plain Greek yogurt and light whipped topping for the cream cheese layer. Spread this over the strawberry layer, then place the pan back in the freezer.
Finally, for the blueberry layer, blend up some blueberries with a little water in the food processor, then stir in nonfat plain Greek yogurt and light whipped topping. Spread this over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate until set.
Summer is the perfect time to enjoy this berry dessert lasagna. While this patriotic dessert is great for Fourth of July celebrations, it’s also tasty for any warm weather get-together. It’s easy to make, and you can even prepare it ahead of time.
