Almond Flour Cherry Muffin Recipe

These muffins are made with fresh cherries, almond extract, sliced almonds, unsweetened applesauce, honey, canola oil, eggs, baking powder, cinnamon, blanched almond flour and whole wheat pastry flour.

To make these Cherry Almond Muffins, first preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, line a muffin pan with muffin liners or lightly grease it with nonstick spray.

In a large bowl, mix together the eggs, applesauce, honey, oil and almond extract. In a separate small bowl, combine the baking powder, cinnamon, almond flour and pastry flour. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.

Fold the cherries into the batter, then pour it into the muffin pan. Top each muffin with sliced almonds. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the muffins are fully cooked through. Enjoy!
