On Nutrisystem, Count As: ½ SmartCarb, 1 PowerFuel and 2 Extras

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. lean ground turkey
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1-15.5 oz. can refried beans
  • 1-4.5 oz. can fire roasted diced green chiles
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • ½ cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, reduced fat

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in onions and ground turkey. Cook until the turkey is no longer pink.
  2. Add the turkey mixture and the rest of the ingredients (except for the cheese) into a slow cooker.
  3. Stir in half of the cheese.
  4. Cook on high for 1-2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  5. Before serving, top with remainder 1/2 cup of cheese.
  6. Serve with chips, vegetables or crackers.
