How to Make Pizza Fries

Craving some crispy, cheesy goodness? Try this delicious twist on traditional fries! Get your ovens preheated (or break out the Air Fryer) and get ready for a delicious treat.

Get started by making homemade French fries. To do this, peel and slice gold potatoes into fries. Place them in a bowl filled with water for an hour before preheating your oven to 425 degrees. After draining, rinsing and patting the fries dry, spread them out on a greased baking sheet as one layer. Don’t forget to spray them with zero-calorie cooking spray and sprinkle them generously with seasoning! We use a combination of garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper, but you can use the spices of your choice!

Bake the fries until they’re crispy and golden; about 40-50 minutes should do it, but don’t forget to give ’em a flip and another spritz of that cooking spray halfway through! When you can see that crunchy perfection happening, top off this pizza party masterpiece by adding low-sodium marinara sauce, part skim mozzarella cheese and turkey pepperoni slices. Throw them back into the oven (for about five minutes) so that cheesy goodness melts nicely onto these incredible crispy treats.

If you prefer an air fryer over the traditional bake method, cook the fries for 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Add the pizza toppings and cook for another three minutes, until the cheese has melted. You’ve now got yourself some deliciously crispy cheesy goodness ready to feast upon… Enjoy!
