This Tropical Guacamole recipe starts off with two ripe avocados and gets its tropical qualities from mango and pineapple. The onion, jalapeno pepper, cilantro and lime juice tack the back burner in this yummy guac, but you can be sure that they’re still adding to the flavor.

Once you’ve assembled all the ingredients, mash together all the ingredients, excluding the pineapple and mango, and then fold the fruits into the mashed mixture. And just like that, you’re done!

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • ½ cup mango, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • ½ cup pineapple, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • ¼ red onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, diced
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
  • ½ lime, juiced
  • Black pepper, to taste


  1. Mash together avocado, cilantro, jalapenos, onion, lime juice and black pepper.
  2. Fold in pineapple and mango.
  3. Serve with tortilla chips or pita chips.
