How to Make Yogurt Toast with Apple and Pecans

You can prepare this easy yogurt toast recipe in your air fryer or in the oven. It uses simple, wholesome ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry.

In a medium bowl, mix together nonfat plain Greek yogurt, coconut sugar, egg, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Whisk the mixture until smooth, then fold in peeled and chopped apples and chopped pecans.

Next, grab some multigrain sourdough bread or any other type of hearty bread you enjoy. Using the back of a spoon, ident the inside of the bread slices, avoiding the crust. This should create a place to spoon the yogurt mixture.

Spoon the apple pecan custard on top of the bread, then cook it at 350 degrees in the air fryer for five minutes. You could also bake it in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
