Overnight oats are the ultimate meal prep miracle. What other dish comes together while you catch some ZZZs? Just toss the ingredients into a jar, close it up and wait for the flavors and textures to transform into a classic bowl of comforting oatmeal.

How to Make Protein Overnight Oats

You can also take your overnight oats to the next level by tossing in some other healthy ingredients, such as fresh fruit, seeds, spices and even protein powder. That’s exactly what we did in this easy recipe, which features fresh blueberries and sliced peaches to create a peach pie-inspired meal. We also added in chia seeds, vanilla extract, nonfat milk, cinnamon, ground ginger and Vanilla Nutrisystem Shake Mix.

Combine all of the ingredients except for the fruit in a mixing bowl. Grab a jar and add some of the peaches to the bottom of it. Top the peaches with half of the oat mixture, followed by a layer of blueberries. Add another layer of the oat mixture and finish up by topping it with any remaining fruit. Put on the lid and refrigerate the oats overnight.
