On Nutrisystem, Count As: ½ SmartCarb, 1 PowerFuel and ½ Vegetable
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- 1 cup corn
- 1 cup black beans
- 1- 10 oz. can fire roasted diced tomatoes
- 1 can fire roasted diced green chiles
- 3 cups beef broth, low sodium
- Heat large pan to medium-high heat. Brown the beef along with the onions.
- Add tomato paste and seasonings.
- Transfer mixture to a slow cooker and add the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours.
