Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • ½ cup chili sauce
  • ¾ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • ½ cup water

Directions:

  1. Spray Instant Pot with nonstick spray and set to SAUTE.
  2. Once Instant Pot is hot, add olive oil.
  3. Add chopped onion and green peppers. Sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
  5. Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked.
  6. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  7. Put lid onto the Instant Pot. Set Instant Pot toggle to SEAL and set to MANUAL for 5 minutes.
  8. When finished, quick release by moving toggle to RELEASE.
  9. Serve over whole wheat buns and top with coleslaw, pickles or any toppings of choice.
