One-Pan Simple Sausage and Sauerkraut Recipe

To make this easy one-pan dinner recipe, simply heat some olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Throw in some sliced chicken sausage, chopped onions and peppers, garlic powder and black pepper. Cook the mixture for about five to seven minutes or until peppers and onions are soft. Finally, stir in the sauerkraut and cooked whole wheat gnocchi. Finish cooking for another two minutes or until everything is heated through.

Ingredients:
- 8 oz. chicken sausage, sliced into ¼” pieces
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 bell peppers, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 ½ cups sauerkraut, drained
- 2 cups whole wheat gnocchi, cooked
Directions:
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add sausage, onion, peppers, garlic powder and black pepper. Cook until peppers and onions are soft, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in sauerkraut and cooked gnocchi. Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
