So, what exactly makes this creamy, dreamy dip an acceptable diet snack idea? It’s filled with a few superfoods that are packed with nutritious benefits (and flavor!).

1. Corn

According to Healthline, corn contains protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals… so it’s the real deal. Corn does also contain a substantial amount of carbs, so it’s important to stick to the allotted serving size suggestion in the Nutrisystem Grocery Guide. > Not only is corn a delicious recipe option on its own, it’s also very versatile. 4. Avocado

According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), avocados are high in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which are associated with lower levels of bad (LDL) cholesterol and triglycerides in our bodies, as compared to saturated and trans fats. While avocados rack in the healthy nutrients, they are also high in calories—so be sure to be cognizant of your portion size when having avocado. 5. Garlic

A serving of garlic provides you with significant amounts of vital minerals, such as calcium, potassium, iron, selenium and phosphorus, says Healthline. This makes garlic a go-to for adding flavor to a dish. Garlic livens up this Mexican Street Corn Dip by packing in the flavor. We’ve got plenty of garlic dishes to add to your weekly diet plan menu, too:

Aside from these five delicious ingredients, this tasty Mexican Corn Dip also includes cilantro, red onion, cheese, mayo, lime juice and black pepper. To make this healthy appetizer, get started by heating the olive oil in a skillet on medium-high heat and add the corn. Continue cooking until the corn is fully cooked and slightly charred, stirring occasionally. The Leaf Healthy Mexican Street Corn Dip
